can you tell me what is in the picture?

Hi, to all warmachine fanatics out there, here is a relaxing picture you might wish to ponder. It is a very scenic, beautiful and a bit down right hair raising.... well. the story goes like this. and this is a true story from a reliable friend CJ (thanks CJ). CJ's friend last week was on a vacation in Batangas. (that was during the Holy Week) and the time was Dusk... his friend was a bit amazed about the big bat that was flying around so he took his cellphone and took a pic. time passed and eventually they went home after the holy week vacation and found something strange in this picture they took. I don't know about what you think of it but just try to take a closer look (POINT AND CLICK ON THE PICTURE FOR A CLOSER LOOK). I did not made this up. and for experts out there. please confirm if there are any modifications done in the picture. add your comments here ok? well for Kim, he said it is a hoax, (as a computer graphics artist of GMA) he said that this is a hoax since it is showing dithering on the object but non seen on the background. also said that this picture already showed up last 2003... was edited to show a lot of these creatures flying all over the place. well how about you?

Round 3, Final cut... again against Bogs' Menoth

At first I was overwhelmed how many his troops were. and even have 2 jacks... Now this time the game is break "hold" the line... similar to moshpit but in a horizontal line area. Bogs showing his battalion... the roll for initiative came and we had the roll tied twice. the 3rd was good. I won the initiative. As to my understanding from my training, I should move as fast as i can to the objective area and he will have a hard time. I deployed first...

and guess what... consistent deployment in 10 seconds. done!
it does not get any better than this...

then he deployed...

he deployed his army all in the far right. right behind the woods. As usual I made my fastest movement. 1 focus for arcantrik 2 for tow using karchev towing for 6 whiplash facing sideways. casting iron curtain on berserker and devastator. using devastator to bulldoze my berserker 2 inches more. forward. and beserker declaring a failed charge... you do the math. 6 +2 +7 = 15points and i started 10 inches from my end... hmmm. more than half! my behemoth lumbers along and took a chance fire with bombard...
(sorry by this time, i was too excited that i forgot taking pictures!)

Bog's turn... he moved his infantry grenadiers to the left and his solo unit made a flying kick to one of them killing it! whhaapppakkk! giving him +4 def. ok.... weird combo...the other units kept on praying this and that and advanced... sorry, too much spells casted and i can't keep up with the names.. round2, maintaining iron curtain, positioned my units a little closer and maximizing the iron curtain's distance... well his grenadiers has this spell wherein they could not die or something like that for a turn. keeping my devastator closed (itching to open up)berzerker was charged by a solo unit. causing some the berserker... I let him have all the fun on the 2nd round. the rest of his units moved in closer.
3rd round... I maintained the iron curtain but stopped the upkeep of the arcantrik and tow. Now my turn, casting unearthly rage... (no total war yet) since no one needs to charge...and what happened was berserker gone berzerk... killing all units in front of him. then i realized. so many units needs so many points... just like 5 whamos vs. white winnie deck. I got more confidence on the jacks armor and protection. now, bogs began to forget the iron curtain.. and his unit with a cross wrench, charges the devastator. only to find himself knocked down with a pow 12, ... the grenadiers close in to the curtain but not passing it and making the same mistake as the other unit and began throwing grenades to karchev. which most bounced on his armor sustaining a box or two damage... hm....my turn. maintain curtain. cast unearthly rage and total war... and all hell break loose. karchev used fissure to the unit that was invincible with a wall, devastator moving to the side and netting the rest of the grenadier units in the iron curtain. and using rain of death. behemoth charging the light jack to free the berserker from engagement. once rubble, berzerker charge the heavy menoth warjack. I see berserker like a swiss army knife where all blades are open and thrown to the enemy.

bogs enraged on what happened did the do or die move... his caster prayed for whatever spells he can use to boost himself and charged karchev... the dog tried to do a counter charge but menoth caster was too close from his master. with his sword the menoth warcaster unleashed his rage... i see 5 dice flying then 4dice then 5 again then 4 again then 3 dice... karchev took it all. and when the turn ended. karchev looked at the menoth warcaster with a grin. holding all focus in his hands and did not do any upkeep. casted unearthly rage, and lashed Sunder once, open fist second, buy attack then another sunder, buy another attack then another sunder. well i guess you know the end of this story...

2 wins -1 loss

GAME 2 (The unit I was warned of... CRYX!)

2nd GAME! well Peter came all the way from baguio to just play. And he seems an expert and honest player. He won the die roll and this time he has Advance Deployment.
This is my warjacks' point of view. Peter scattered deployment and still kept reaching distance of his caster. and he has this power that allows him to channel his caster's spells.

This is his deployment. very scattered and even well balanced.

1st turn. He went in and did not even wasted time. He got most of his units advanced almost halfway but still not enough distance for me to reach him. his warjacks are scattered.,

My turn: i tried to do the usual opening again. arcantrik and tow... giving 2 focus on the behemoth and did bombards. targeting a stealth unit, it became an auto miss. deviating to one of the serpent-like units... killing it. the 2nd bombard took other infantry.
tried to move as quickly as possible. but no go...the berserker charged., and damaged some of his units...
but I was not able to obliterate his "warjacks"

I got 1 of the chicken-like warjack, by devastator and the berserker got 80% of the other that looks like a snake. and it slithered to the right side of the map after it dealt its damage to my unit. then on his turn he corroded and lowered my berserker armor by 4 then by 3 then i lost count... soon the berserker was a scrap and was absorbed by the serpent to regenerate itself.

Next round:

Peter looks at the mapboard scanning on how to get karchev. but unknowingly did not know that his units are on a good position to meet the objective. I on the other hand had a hard time to win by objective. occupy 3 areas 2 on my side and 1 on my opponent's side. with slow jacks and only 4 (1 destroyed - left with 3) and his warcaster is way behind my enemy lines... no way could i win...

on his end turn.... he wins!

1 win - 1 loss

Unstoppables Tournament Results... (GAME1)

Here is the results: Well as a newbie., I was actually terrified on what might happen. then the 1st opponent was given: 1st game: MOSHPIT.
My opponent won the role but wanted me to setup first. So I deploy my units. ( my opponent by the way was menoth...

The deployment was in a village with a shallow river on the right. the small red die at the middle is the middle of the moshpit. my opponent (sorry i can't remember his name.... Mark) deployed his squad behind a wall and acrobatic chicks on the other side of the river.

1st turn: I knew I had to get to the center as fast as possible. I needed it coz i know it is difficult to break my warjacks specially if they are clump in a group.
I opened up naturally with the Karchev Arcantrik Tow whiplash combo., and made my units move to the center (could not run. I forgot to allocate the left focus) but more likely my units were close.

(opponent's turn):
He made movements with his troops first. unknowingly that they blocked the only path for his warjack to go through. (take note a black fig on the lower right is actually lurking and i could not see. It took a snipe on my devastator but fell short by half an inch. the only one that were able to come close is the knight like unit that casted a Wall that can only be harmed by magical attack...
his acrobatic chicks ran 12 all the way on the other side of the river.

Turn2: I again made the arcantrik tow towards the center and this time setting up my units and used my behemoth to move in front to block his path to enter the 7 inch moshpit. then fired on the troops in line. I was able to get 5 out but the sixth was lucky I role a 3., the banner kept going down but someone kept on holding it up.

(Opponent's Turn): he tried to go on the moshpit but the behemoth was on the way. the only one that got in was a paladin and a the one that casted the wall. the acrobatic babes tried to cross the stream but fell short since he didn't expect that they will still be affected by rough terrain. The 2nd turn ended and Marshal Kim said it is the end of the time. they counted the points., and all of my warjacks and dog was in. winning the game technically. (Whew!)
