This is my warjacks' point of view. Peter scattered deployment and still kept reaching distance of his caster. and he has this power that allows him to channel his caster's spells.
This is his deployment. very scattered and even well balanced.
1st turn. He went in and did not even wasted time. He got most of his units advanced almost halfway but still not eno
My turn: i tried to do the usual opening again. arcantrik and tow... giving 2 focus on the behemoth and did bombards. targeting a stealth unit, it became an auto miss. deviating to one of the serpent-like units... killing it. the 2nd bombard took other infantry.
tried to move as quickly as possible. but no go...the berserker charged., and damaged some of his units...
but I was not able to obliterate his "warjacks"
I got 1 of the chicken-like warjack, by devastator and the berserker got 80% of the other that looks like a snake. and it slithered to the right side of the map after it dealt its damage to my unit. then on his turn he corroded and lowered my berserker armor by 4 then by 3 then i lost count... soon the berserker was a scrap and was absorbed by the serpent to regenerate itself.
Next round:
on his end turn.... he wins!
1 win - 1 loss

This one's Peter Dalope of Baguio, feriomadrox on the MWPH forum. He's used to breaking warjack-heavy Khador lists with all his games against Arvin. That, and being your first game against a Cryx army, well it was definitely uphill for you from the matchup pa lang.
ReplyDeleteAgainst infantry, your best bet would be Rain of Death, Behemoth Bombards and good old Trampling.
